I have been working as a counsellor and psychotherapist since 1998, and have been BACP Accredited as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist since 2004. As a member of BACP, I work within the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and I am accountable to BACP's Professional Conduct Procedure. I am also a UKRCP Registered Independent Counsellor / Psychotherapist and a member of COSCA and of the World Association for Person-Centered and Experiential Psychotherapy and Counseling (WAPCEPC).

I have worked with a very wide range of client issues over the 13 years I have been in practice and would be happy to meet with you to explore whether my background and experience are right for you.

I currently work full-time as a Teaching Fellow in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Edinburgh and run a small private practice on Friday afternoons.

Prior to joining the University of Edinburgh I managed a national mental health project and, before that, a counselling service offering one-to-one and couple counselling.
